Asset Manager / Property Services Manager (Assets)

St Austell, Cornwall

£51,010 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen with Ocean Housing Group for a permanent, full time, Asset Manager within our Property Services team.

As our Asset Manager, you will gain insights and propose options for future program delivery and investment in our homes and lead the Property Services Assets Team to shape our plans and strategic direction.

You’ll lead and coordinate property investment programmes and actively contribute to our overall business plan for the future. You will carry out stock condition surveys and inspections, ensuring all relevant information is documented and accessible to internal stakeholders to help manage completed works and prepare accurate budget assumptions. With strong experience in construction and property, you will be pivotal in ensuring good quality services meet our tenants needs, with all works meeting agreed financial budgets. You’ll take an interest in the energy efficiency within all our properties, taking the lead with writing all relevant policies and procedures relating to asset management. Confident and communicative, you will develop good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to develop a service delivery that meets our high standards.

We’re looking for an individual with a strong track record in delivering effective asset planning and contract management, with the ability to develop cost project options (including remodelling and refurbishment) and present project proposals. You’ll hold a relevant building discipline to NVQ level 4 or equivalent and have a commitment to continual professional and management development. With experience in a similar role, you will be accustomed to identifying and enabling service improvements around building construction methods and have experience of stock condition surveys, ensuring all legislative and regulatory requirements are always adhered to.
