Salary: £25,658.74 per annum 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday – Permanent role 

Location: Leeds 

We are looking for a Senior Grounds Maintenance Operative to help oversee our grounds maintenance team and keep our estates looking clean, safe and well cared for.

What you’ll do:  

• 
  

  Carry out grounds and estate maintenance, making regular site visits and ensuring good quality 

  
  


• 
  

  Lead by example and working alongside the team to complete jobs 

  
  


• 
  

  Check work quality and ensuring health and safety standards are followed 

  
  


• 
  

  Be a friendly point of contact for tenants while working on our estates 

  
  


• 
  

  Support and guide team members, including new starters 

  
  


• 
  

  Deliver short toolbox talks 

  
  


• 
  

  Keep basic records of work completed, materials used and equipment checks 

  
  


• 
  

  Make sure vehicles, tools and machinery are used safely and looked after 

  
  

What we’re looking for:  

• 
  

  Experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, landscaping or a similar role 

  
  


• 
  

  Someone who is reliable, organised and takes pride in their work 

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to support and guide other team members  

  
  


• 
  

  Hold a full UK driving licence (essential).
