Community Housing Assistant – Commercial & Lettings   



Birmingham   



£24,242 - £26,364 per annum depending on skills 



Full Time, Fixed Term Contract - 12 months 



Closing Date: 30th May 2025

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Community Housing Assistant to join us on a 12-month FTC to support the Commercial and Lettings team in providing a friendly and efficient allocations service.   



 



Key responsibilities include: 



 





  • responsible to provide administrative and other support to the team 




  • first point of contact for customer enquiries 




  • To support the wider directorate when required.  





 



The successful candidate will ideally have:  



 





  • Experience in a similar environment or a Basic understanding of housing 




  • Ability to work on own initiative  




  • Experience of working in difficult situations with multiple competing priorities  




  • A good basic education including English and Maths qualifications and an ability to communicate potentially difficult decisions with confidence.  




  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
