Full Stack Developer (Web)



£42,935.20 per Annum 



Birmingham – Hybrid 



Permanent 



Full Time (35 Hours per week)

We’re looking for a talented Full Stack Web Developer to join our team! If you have a strong understanding of the industry’s current trends and experience with responsive and adaptive design we would love to hear from you! 



As a Full Stack Web Developer you will be responsible for both the back-end and front-end development including working on Wordpress themes, you’ll be required to use a combination of programming skills PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript just to name a few. 



Your key responsibilities will include: 





  • Design, develop, and test web-front ends and applications using industry standard programming languages, frameworks, and practices 




  • Style applications using CSS; Bootstrap (library); Font Awesome; and Sass 




  • Write code that is performant, well formatted, efficient, easily readable, maintainable, appropriately commented and adheres to common best practices 




  • Review existing web-based systems to ensure they are accessible to all and operate optimally to streamline and enhance the client experience. Suggest improvements in line with this review. 




  • Input and contribute to digital strategy and development team project and programme meetings 




  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality 





Our ideal candidate will have: 





  • Minimum of 12 months experience as a Developer 




  • Good working knowledge of using CMSs (WordPress/Umbraco preferable) and their associated database technologies. 




  • Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications 




  • Experience with image manipulation 




  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
