Salary: £18000 - £22000 per annum + Pro rata

Role Objective: 3 month contract with potential to go permanent
To support participants to gain employability and progress towards employment through the delivery of a combination of skills training, structured job focused training programs, workshops and supported job search and IAG.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver tailored delivery programmes to enable learners to increase their skills levels and progress to a positive destination as per the requirements of the contract.
To achieve own Functional Skills qualification within 6 months of joining the company.
Work with the team of Employment Brokers and employers to develop Sector Focused programs leading where possible to guaranteed interviews and sustained job entries.
Carry out assessments on the job readiness and skills levels of clients to enable tailored training and support to be offered and delivered.
Deliver structured training programs and workshops designed to improve the employability of clients.
Assist clients in the preparation and updating of CVs and self-marketing material.
Coach and support clients through job search techniques.
To provide regular 1:1 support through face to face meetings and telephone contact.
To signpost clients onto other provision where this provision will increase the clients employability.
Continue as a contact point and support co-ordinator during the tracking period.
To participate directly or indirectly in marketing the Company's services to Employers, colleges and training providers.
To work closely with the teams.


Maintain good working relationship with appropriate referral agencies and to take part in exhibitions, conventions, presentations etc., as necessary to promote the Company and its services.
Ensure that client's records are maintained and kept up-to-date.
Ensure that contractual requirements are being met and appropriate records are produced.
Achieve agreed individual and team targets in relation to starts, attendance, retention, appropriate and timely achievement and learner progression.
Liaise with referral bodies and other departments to assist in monitoring and processing of client details and information.
Liaise with sub-contractor and delivery partners to ensure clients obtain the best possible opportunities and service.
Matching clients to suitable employment and progression opportunities and encouraging them to fully engage in the attainment of sustainable employment.
Attend and assist in out of office hours marketing events as appropriate.
Contribute to the sharing of good practice and support continuous improvement throughout the Company.
Promote a positive image of the Company and all of the services it delivers.
Actively contribute to maintenance of a professional and welcoming environment within all our centres.
Any other duties reasonably requested by the line manager.
To assist with other duties within the scope and nature of the position such as training and development of new staff.
To implement and comply with the Company's Equality & Diversity, Safeguarding and Health & Safety Policies and promote the policies to clients and employers with whom the Company works.
To implement and comply with all Company policies and procedures.
