Our Client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Regional Sales manager, responsible for managing a regional sales team, to assist with the development and strengthening of relationships with employers. You will sell the Group's range of services, in turn achieving regional and company budgeted and targeted revenue and profitability. You will be responsible for the identification, research, analysis and achievement of new opportunities.
Regular travel will be required to other locations connected with the business of the region. Our Client is passionate about improving skills, raising aspirations and developing opportunities for their staff and clients.

Requirements for this role:
Essential: * Ability to create budgets, forecast and management summaries * Experience of devising and implementing business plans * Experience of leading a sales team across diverse locations * Demonstrable commercial acumen ideally with an understanding of the commercial drivers in the learning provider industry * Track record in building and nurturing partnerships with external bodies/partners * Proven telesales and field sales experience and knowledge of sales techniques (SPIN, AIDA) * Full driving licence and use of own vehicle * Manage a 'portfolio' of complex projects or commercial problems, whilst maintaining 'business as usual' * Ability to communicate at all levels (both verbally and written)
Desirable: * Demonstrable leadership experience ideally gained in a multi-location organisation * Evidence of meeting targets and deadlines in a complex multi-site, multi stakeholder environment * Significant influencing skills, preferably gained through dealings with major funding providers or employers * Ability to deal professionally and tactfully with difficult situations relation to managing staff performance.
